Recap: Comic Arts LA 2016

12:55 PM PST on December 12, 2016

The 3rd annual Comic Arts LA built on the success of the past two years, and brought large crowds to Downtown Los Angeles to revel in the world of comics. An expanded roster of international artists, combined with a diverse all-ages crowd created a rush of excitement when you walked in the door of Think Tank Gallery on Maple Street. The excitement didn't wear off as you moved through the gallery--  there were tons of rare and unique items from a wide variety of artists everywhere you looked. Some of our favorites were Hellen Jo, Johnny Sampson, Silver Sprocket, Michael SweaterMia SchwartzBenjamin VakowitzMike Freiheit, and E Jackson. Comics are finding their place in the art world, and Comic Arts LA hosts seasoned artists as well as up and comers so there is always something new and unique to find. Please enjoy the photo recap, and remember to check out this event next year!
