About 626 Golden Streets: This open streets event celebrates the one year anniversary of the Foothill Gold Line Extension grand opening. The Metro Open Streets Program presents 626 Golden Streets, a once‐in‐a‐lifeme opportunity to walk, bike, run, skate, scoot, dance and play on over 18 miles of car‐free open streets (www.626goldenstreets.com). The FREE, family‐friendly event will touch much of the (626) area code, linking 7 Foothill cities and 6 Gold Line stations, for the first me. Along the 18+ mile route, check out 7 activity zones where you can enjoy live music and live art installations all day, free fitness & dance classes, pop‐up art installations, food kids play zones & more!
