Bring the Noise Presents: Welcome to the Dollhouse ~ January 28th

3:42 PM PST on January 23, 2017

Bring the Noise is a unique monthly live experience that unites classic movies and TV with new and original film scores performed by contemporary artists. Guest Artist-In-Residence T Bone Burnett along with an impressive list of acclaimed musicians will work together with Film Independent Curator Elvis Mitchell to present a wide range of remastered classic films at LACMA’s Bing Theater.

The original music track from the film or show will be isolated and removed, keeping the film’s dialogue and sound effects intact. For one night only, these remixed versions will screen with original, live musical accompaniment in a unique performance event, never again to be duplicated.

The series will include performances by artists as varied as composer Michael Andrews (Togetherness, Donnie Darko, Me and You and Everyone We Know), Jack Antonoff of Bleachers, Daniel Ash & Kevin Haskins of Bauhaus, Seth Bogart of Hunx and His Punx, Emily Kokal of Warpaint, Ulises Lozano of Kinky, YACHT and Nick Zinner of Yeah Yeah Yeahs.

*** The series kicks off on Saturday, January 28 with Welcome to the Dollhouse with new live music by Seth Bogart of Hunx and His Punks ***
