El Velorio is This Weekend

LA-based artist Antonio Pelayo’s long-running El Velorio 21 & over soiree closes out LA’s Dia de los Muertos events with a massive multi-cultural art celebration, featuring an exhibit by over 100 local artists, live bands, DJ sets, performances and more.

Host Melissa Santos (Lucha Underground) will emcee guests through the night as they enjoy DJ sets, live mural painting, Dia de los Muertos-themed airbrush makeup, fashion shows, photobooths, food and drinks between scheduled events. The evening will open with a performance by Danza Azteca, and live bands will take the stage throughout the night, including Mariachi Manchester, Casa De Calacas, DJ Gazoo, Ev Dub, El Carro Fantasma, Folklore Pasion Mexicana, Alien Dance Band and headliner Metalachi.
