    Las Cazuelas ~ 5707 N Figueroa St. Btw. N 57th & 58th Aves. ~ Highland Park

Superb pupusas served with some of the best cabbage in town. The pupusas here are a bit crispy, a bit light, but extra delicious-- as are the plantains with refried beans. It's a big family-style place with a jukebox, friendly service and there's always a nice crowd on hand for dinner. Entrees are around $8, and parking is usually plentiful. Bonus points given for the sweet old-school star shaped sign.
