Las Fotos Presents “Viva La Muxer” ~ March 11

    Mark your calendars now, because Las Fotos Project will host the 3rd Annual “Viva La Muxer” art and music festival celebrating International Women’s day on Saturday, March 11th at Plaza de La Raza. The event will benefit Las Fotos Project, a community-based nonprofit organization that provides teenage girls with photography mentoring programs designed to build their self-confidence, connect them with their community, and teach them the importance of advocating for social change.     In honor of Women’s History Month, Viva La Muxer celebrates the creativity and vigorous spirit of women who have contributed to history, and those working to better the future. This year, Viva La Muxer will celebrate Mother Earth and honor women that have dedicated themselves to protecting the environment by advocating for a more sustainable urban landscape in Los Angeles.

    What: 3rd Annual Viva La Muxer

    When: Saturday, March 11 from 5p.m. to 11p.m.

    Visuals: All women line-up of 100+ visual artists, spoken word performers, multimedia screenings, live music, and dance performances, exciting specialty performances, art workshops, tarot card readings, a pop-up marketplace, food court, and resource booths.
