Lincoln Heights Skate Spot Grand Opening

11:28 AM PST on March 11, 2011

Nike SB hosted a party to open the Lincoln Park Skate Spot in NE Los Angeles. Hundreds of kids came out to celebrate alongside Paul Rodriguez and the Nike SB Team. Designed by Lance Mountain, the park incorporates features that are reminiscent of past skate culture as well as street-inspired modern obstacles.

Nike SB partnered with the LA84 Foundation, the Paul Rodriguez Skateboarding Foundation, and the City Rec and Parks to create a spot for the youth of Los Angeles. This is part of Nike's commitment to increase the access to the sport of skateboarding.
