Twitter has brought us many wonders, but perhaps chief among them in Los Angeles is the account belonging to a mysterious person who uses the handle @lascanner. LA Scanner monitors police communications and condenses them into 140 character dispatches that somehow manage to combine mordant wit with essential information. LA Scanner's legend is growing with every tweet, and #scanneron is now one of our city's favorite hashtags. So, LA Scanner, what's your favorite taco?
