PEEL HERE 2007 ~ THIS SATURDAY @ The Ghetto Mansion ~ 2225 S. Olive St. Los Angeles, CA 90007 ~6PM-11PM~ALL AGES! ~ $5
Sometimes we get comments asking about the events and parties we feature and how someone wished they’d known about it before the fact. Well, we’re letting you know right now: THIS IS THE BIG ONE!!! Peel Here 2007, organized by the master himself, ‘Sticky’ Rick, will be the biggest sticker show Los Angeles has ever seen, with sticker art from all over the Earth gracing the surfaces of the Ghetto Mansion downtown.
One look at the invite above shows that this Saturday’s party and art show will be combining everything that we hold dear, from tacos and beer to live music from The Leaf Blowers, The Sirens and DJs Gaslamp Killer and Kutmah, plus the local artists we admire and adore who beautify our city streets: UNSEEN, TIKI JAY, the ubiquitous RTH squad, SKULLPHONE, sticker king SERCH, Damon Robinson, Restitution Press, CONART, ZOSO, 7th Letter, 14-BOLT, ZAN E.LA, and 2-Cent, plus many more listed and many MANY more showing up. Plus, Hit n’ Run Crew will do a free one-of-a-kind Peel Here mini-print for any one item you want to be printed on to, so bring a shirt and get a free Hit! And all this for only $5!!!
Big ups to 455, who will be busting out one of his massive sticker combos live and to Justin Kees, who will have some work on display as well, and both of who have been valued contributors to TACO. Biggest of all ups to Sticky Rick, who knows how to throw a jam, as he’s demonstrated repeatedly at Hallowed Wheat Paste, Hung at the Ghetto Mansion parties, and Peel Heres past. This is an all-ages event, so bring ID if you’re fixing to drink!
Don’t miss this one Los Angeles!!! Enjoy some images from last year’s show from the report we did…
“REPEAT OFFENDER” 11-17-07

Hit+Run 2 Year anniversary party. Yup it’s already been 2 years and Mike C & Brandy Flower have rocked their 101th H+R party in downtown Los Angeles. I’ve know Mike C. for almost 12 years now and let me tell you, flavor is not bought, it’s produced in few and Mike has always been on top of his game from day 1.

Anyways, back to this great 2 year party…I’ve been a member of the H+R crew for about a year and have always loved the vibe this crew brings. Weather it’s a trade show, an art show, whatever ! ! ! Every event they seem to throw or are a part of silk screening, they always seem to bring a huge crowd with tons of positive vibes. The idea to get a 1 of a kind silk screen from your favorite street artist or an underground clothing co. etc… is just simple genius. I can’t even tell you how many people showed up to this event, but it seemed like 1000+.

Drinks were being poured, pictures were being flashed , silk screens from all the members of H+R were being offered….yup even mine!!!
