Our Mission:

During the first half of this year, we have witnessed a growing threat towards immigrant communities and people who serve and seek to better the conditions in which they live in this country. HR3347 is not just an attack on immigrants; it is an attack on the very nucleus of our society. Our compassion and understanding towards the plight of another human being has been dictated by a question of legal status in this country. This attack coalesced our communities to participate in the March 25th and May 1st protest. It is in this spirit that we seek to widen the scope of this issue to include the conditions that cause immigration into this country:
poverty, lack of resources and a fair chance to higher education. As artists, we are given a voice to our communities, through images and words. As artists empowered with this voice, we have a responsibility to become active participants in our society and become a part of the solution.
