We attended the opening reception for the Artist’s Choice show presented by Jack Rudy’s Koolsville. The family and I stopped by before we went out to dinner. A couple of weeks ago was the annual Mooneyes Xmas Party at the Irwindale Raceway. Let me sum it up this way; if you were not there, you missed a good one! The show is good every year (even in the rain) but for some reason this year was extra good, even great! The vibe was excellent, the cars looked really good and the people were all having a great time.  I heard it was at capacity by 10am and people were waiting 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get in. Thankfully Stephanie & I were there by 8am. We have to once again thank Chico and the Mooneyes team for the passes and the parking pass. It is very much appreciated.

We saw a whole lot of our friends at the show including Paul & Julie who were looking stylish as always.

Audie & Liz spent the day at the show with “She Devil”, his 65 Riviera that flys the Lifestyle CC plaque.

We met up with the Machado family after the show for dinner and they showed up in Julie’s 64 Impala drop top.

Monday night was the Young & Reckless premiere celebration for season four of Rob Dyrdek’s Fantasy Factory on MTV. In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past couple of years. Young & Reckless is the apparel line that was launched by Drama who is Rob’s cousin and a main personality on the show. We have to thank our friend Melissa K for making sure we were taken care of and made sure we were able to get the shots we needed. Another thanks goes to Travis H from Young & Reckless for also making sure we got what we needed.

The man of the hour, Drama. He was kind enough to walk the club with Stephanie & I and take a couple of shots around the club.

We were out at Bob’s Big Boy in Downey today for lunch and to check out the Majestics CC  Toy Drive.

After weeks of shameless self  promotion, my first photo exhibition took place last night at Brooklyn Projects in Pasadena California. The planning for the event started at the end of August and after the response and turn out last night, Melloe Won and I achieved what we set out to do after our first meeting. We selected a number of photos to be printed and two of the printed photos were also selected for the two tee shirts that were sold yesterday at the event.

In front of the store, we had Fernando from Lifestyle with his 58 Impala, Joey from Techniques with his Lincoln and Paul from Old Memories with his 38 Chevy out in front. After Paul left, Rocky & Susan, and Tutu and his wife show up with their Chevy Bombs.

Sino Tequila provided some great cocktails and DJ Wrex and his crew played a nice mixture of music all night.

Lifestyle, Techniques, Together, Good Times, Neu Exposure, Royal Image and Westside were some of the car clubs that came out to support the event and I’d like to thank them for their support. My family and friends also came out to support! Great to see everyone and I’d like to thank you for your support as well. I’d also like to thank Howard Gribble and Evan Greenspan for taking the time to drive out to Pasadena and show their support as well.

This was a personal highlight for me and my photography. Return of the Lost Angels ~ De La Barracuda ~ Hollywood

Saturday afternoon the family & I headed to De La Barracuda on Melrose in Hollywood to attend Mike Giant’s event called Return of the Lost Angels. The event was filled with fans of Mike’s art and Rebel Eight brand, many wating in line to purchase event edition tees, posters and hats. Mike Giant also did a live art installation to conclude the event. Mike Giant personalized Barracuda for the event.

The event was a good time. Congrats to all those involved with the planning and execution.

A few Sundays ago was the Traffic CC picnic in Pomona at Bonelli Park. As always it was a good time with the Traffic family and with all of our friends that were in attendance.

So I got a call from my friends from Lifestyle CC & Westside CC inviting me to meet them at the NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona for their Twilight Cruise event. The event is held the first Wednesday of every month from April to December. The show organizers invited the clubs to come down and be part of the event. The lowriders got a great spot to park and were constantly surrounded by people during the event.  I got their kinda late so when I showed up there were alot of people and the lighting was less than ideal. I shot a few photos, met some cool people and chopped it up with my Lifestyle & Westside friends. There is a something for every type of car enthusiast at the event. Hot Rods, Customs, Classics, Kustoms and now Lowriders. Here are a few of the photos.
