It was my 21st birthday and I Joan Darrow Lindley was playing flute in Ben's father' sband, Leornard Harper's Afro-Cuban Band, I invited Ellen to the party since it was goig to all these men and me, Ellen came and met Leornard, the rest is history. I later married musician David Lindley. David originated the band Kaliedoscope. There are so many discrepincies in the evrloving.com histories and delusional stories. But that is show biz. I also witnessed the Leonard Cohen conversaton. The quote wasn't really that, Leonard was enjoying a cigarette and some wine in the afternoon.
