CREWEST ~ “I Am Legend” Artist Competition ~ Downtown

Warner Brother’s teamed up with Gallery Crewest to promote the upcoming movie, “I Am Legend,” starring Will Smith. Crewest closed down Winston Street for the event, which brought out a good number of people.

For the contest graffiti artists were asked to create a painting with the movie’s theme in mind. Three prizes were awarded. First prize was $1200, awarded to Tazroc. Second place was $500, awarded to Ritzy Periwinkle. Third prize was $300, went to Siner (LTS Crew).

Hey Amayzun! I checked the party out but had to go shortly before the winner was announced cuz of Downtown’s whack parking. Some really great artists at work, the 2nd one down in your story here was sick I thought, with lots of collage in the canvas. The Will Smith movie didn’t look too shitty. It probably will be though.
