Debbie and Jeff have been selling pumpkins, and Christmas trees in December, for over 40 years on this same empty lot. Every year they bring the farm along for the ride. The lamb is named Bambi for its spotted skin. The two pigs were especially rowdy the day we visited. Watch out for the goat- they’ll eat anything. There’s a folk saying- “If you don’t have enough problems already, buy a goat.”
Stick with pumpkins! These are some of the most shapley and orange pumpkins you’ll find anywhere in Los Angeles. Unfortunately, this lot and the adjoining properties have been acquired by a property developer. Check out the vintage beach bungalows on the adjoining property- remnants from the sleepy beach town past. Debbie & Jeff will be back next year at a new location- to be announced. Happy Halloween!
