    Thanks for the photos of San Miguel. I went to school in Guanajuato for one year back in the 90s. We used to go to San Miguel for Italian food. I also saw my one and only bullfight there. Quite brutal, but interesting.

    You ever have tacos from the stand at Insurgentes and Reloj? (or maybe it’s Hidlago, I’ll have to pay attention next time). So far these are the only tacos I’ve had worth talking about. They rival, maybe even surpass anything you can get at the loncheras, and believe me, I’ve eaten my more than my share of those. Pastor, lengua, cabeza, chicharron, chorizo, mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! (I’m not fond of buche or tripa, though). My three other taco experiences here in SMA were rather disappointing, but this one stand more than makes up for it.

    Marcos. You have to go to La Brasilia or Tacos Don Felix. You are talking about Insurgentes and Hidalgo.
