I really, really enjoyed this article... Eva Ruiz, whoever you are, you're sexy, short (so you can wear the kimono's looking japanese)but most of all, you have the gift, talent of writing... I love your raw, sexual but sophisticated way of writing and I loved reading about the little details of kimono´s and Japanese culture that so few of us know about!

I come from the Middle Eastern tradition where more hair is sexier than less. But I totally appreciate that other women feel differently about it. I remember the first time I went to have my hair waxed here in the US, this woman showed up with a bowl full of hot wax and a butter knife! I told her no knife was ever going to get close to my... probably didn't know the English word for it at the time. Before I left I asked her if she would wax a couple of hair on my belly. She looked at me and with a glint in her eye and a beautiful Persian accent she said "Why? It's sexy!" Thanks to her, I've never been back to a salon and have learned to enjoy tending to my own garden. Being a dark-haired woman with Italian, Jewish and Algerian blood in my veins, for me hair is sexy and womanly. I also think there is something animalistic and primitive about it that turns me on. I had a fling with a guy last year who had lots of hair on his upper back, at first I kind of felt repulsed by it but I learned to really enjoy it. Somebody should write a book about women and hair all around the world.
