Mr. Vallenato’s second song, a blaze through “La Pava Congona,” got the dancing started that would endure through the evening. Can you spy the beauty wearing the Colombian flag?

La Santa Cecilia, whose heartfelt singer let her gorgeous voice soar this past Saturday.

Mentiritas, formed by two members of Ozomatli, headlined and during the few times they actually played music (as opposed to all the time they spent fucking around), they had some pretty tight and funny versions of 80’s-hits done banda-style.

Mentiritas is tired. Total Culture-Vulture babosadas. That shit would be a big hit at some Frat party in Riverside, I hope those dorks realize that. What happened to Ozomatli, they used to be such a positive representation of our urban youth culture, now, they’ve resorted to mocking the very people who supported them. Que Gaucho… or should I say que “Gavacho” Mentiritas is a very appopriate name.
