Thank you all involved with Watts Towers and Frankie especially for keeping the memory alive. For reminding us of our human heritage.

Conan: After Rodia died, the city tried to demolish the towers with a crane. Not only did the towers survive, the crane broke. They gave up.

The towers will be standing for a long time…

Nice to see there is so much concern about the Watts towers. I remember going there on a school field trip in my youth. I hope they stay standing for many more years. Good work Frankiely on the interview.

I had the pleasure of working with Ed Landler at Holmes Middle School in Northridge. His passion for and knowledge of different artistic mediums is truly inspiring, plus he is a helluva story-teller, nice guy, and a total mack!

See I Build the Tower and you will definitely see the Towers in a different way! You will also be singing Logan’s funky tune, “I build the tower people like!” I haven’t gotten it out of my head in MONTHS!
