My friend worked there so got to see them for free. they rocked the house and clearly remember being in the midst of a house filled with almost pure ladies. it was hard to keep my off the ladies and the ever handsome dave navarro. but must say, I enjoyed the ladies and them rubbing up on me more. :-) on one of their so many “reunions”…i saw them at the hardrock cafe a few years back. My brother and his friend were going to see Jane's downtown and I went with them to get the tickets. I was like in 4th grade. The hall was open and we heard drums and bass coming from inside, so we walk in, it's like 3PM in the afternoon... Perry Farrell is on stage with gigantic blue dreads hanging down to his ass. I think the band was rehearsing Up The Beach. It was so loud and trippy, and Perry was occasionally wailing. I remember it being powerful and thinking they were weird as fuck. I saw my first Jane's show at The Palladium in Hollywood. The Pixies and Primus opened. I think Harry Perry was there, he was definitely at The Universal Amphitheater gigs a few years later.
