While I never found their food to be outstanding (it always reminds me of decent diner food, but no more), their pies are some of the best that I've ever tried. I think that I've never had better apple, or cherry, or boysenberry pies than what I've gotten from Jongewaard's. Indeed, there've been times when I've gone there three times a week for a different pie: they disappear quickly in my appreciative household. I live just three blocks from Jongewaard’s.
