But it's sad and upsetting that for all the coverage this is the first time I've ever seen Lana Clarkson's picture associated with this case or read anything from her family members. Like surprise, this was an actual human person who was murdered, not a theoretical concept on the periphery of a joke about Phil Spector's hair styles and "sexual"* proclivities. *scare quotes because rape is not sex. I haven’t paid a lot of attention to this story, just because there’s been so much of it it’s easy enough to pick up the gist without seeking out details.
