Had I not just taken a bombilla-load of piping hot yerba mate to the face, once again scorching the skin from my tongue, I might have discerned a lot more flavor coming from Tatiana’s taco truck. Even without the luxury of tastebuds, the shrimp tacos I got were great. I usually rock La Playita on Lincoln for my Venice shrimp tacos, but I could convert to this Aztec-inked lil’ beauty real quick. The shrimp tacos took a minute, but came into my hands extra-warm, providing great comfort to my frail little body. The shrimp were really plump and super fresh, exploding with a juicy crunch on every bite, with a top coating of black pepper that adds nicely to the mix. The lettuce too was good n’ crunchy, tomatoes and limon extremely fresh, maybe a little onion could have sealed the deal, but no complaints here, these suckers are filled with shrimp and are very good!
