Danny was a long time friend of my family. My next door neighbor mr burns, family of 5, married Danny’s Mom .Mrs Bearer, family of 4. They became a family of 9.
Danny’s younger brother Tim was in my grade at paul revere + palisades high, we both went to U.S.C. Together, and remain friends to this day. He was my younger sister’s high school sweetheart. Danny and I were romantic friends for a while.he was good at writing poems, + one of his poems was recited at his funeral. I am so glad I attended his funeral with my brother Jim (they were lon time friends), and my mother, Dr. Mary Brenneman. Tim’s wife made an outstanding montage of photo’s of Danny surfing, skateboarding, waterskiing, etc
Hey Tim, please try to post that on this. Danny’s funeral allowed me to see + to share condolences with almost every Burns + Bearer whom I hadn’t seen in years. Danny’s family still lives in pacific palisades where we both grew up. He had many talents and achievements. We really miss him, and wish we had seen him more often. Love you Danny

Danny I remember visiting you just a few years ago to go together to Saint Monica’s church to say a prayer for Bruce Mehner who had passed on. I didn’t know you all that well but I do remember of course your talents and that you were always a gentleman – RIP -

I Love you, Danny……I’ll never forget all the good times….the girls….the early morning waves at State Beach and Topanga….your rivalry with Torger and all the crazy stuff we did. I’ll never forget you at 14 years old___you were smart and really good at everything. I really miss you, Dan. You were a great life-long friend…my brother.

To all who knew sweet Danny… he was a loyal friend and an inspiration… Danny taught me to see and sense the rainbow … I was helping Danny with his memoir and by all means I will try to continue the work… bless his soul… rest in peace sir
