The new issue of Restitution Press produced by L.A. artist Mullet has just been released, and since I contributed artwork, I was lucky enough to score a early copy for review.

Now, for anyone unfamiliar with Restitution Press, I’m talking about a hand made publication featuring various Los Angeles artists which doubles as a individually numbered piece of art.

Each page is meticulously crafted by Mullet, who hand paints and then prints the selected artist’s material on the page. The new issue features artwork from L.A. artists such as Kofie One, El Bino, Smog City, Mullet, Euthanasia and more.

The new issue features a new button system composed of rivet’s, which can be seen on the outside of the box.

The inside of the Box is a beautiful cloth lining featuring numerous image’s relating to the material inside, from drafting guides to fixed gear bikes.

The artwork turned in by artists such as Smog City and Kofie is amazing, and I was especially impressed by the illustrations submitted by El Bino.

To top it off Mullet went the extra distance and included the transparencies used to create the silk screens in with the book, meaning each book has one acetate drawing that was created by the artist.

In the end, all I can say is that I am impressed. This issue is well worth the money asked for any fan of L.A. graffiti or street art and is a great indication of where thing’s are heading.
