R.I.P Clark Foam

Clark Foam closed its doors suddenly last December. Their excellent and market-leading surfboard blanks will never be made again. They owned 95% of the market, but something was wrong with the business (some say EPA, some say foreign competition) and they went down faster then anyone would have thought. The head dude, Gordon Clark, might get his ass kicked if seen on the streets by many surfboard shapers for hurting their business and closing up shop so quickly. Sadly, most of the blanks are now imported from overseas– American made no more.
