That’s such a classic Bandini review on El Korita and the E. Olympic taco mecca. Thanks for linking to it!

I believe it is time to mention a Hall of Fame Category, and I think “El Taco Loco” run by Ricardo Leon in the late 70’s early 80’s. He would park his truck on Olympic Blvd, (southside) between the Legendary Rudy’s Pasta House, and Lito’s Cork Room. Back in those days there was no such thing as a silver dollar corn tortilla, you know those puny little tortillas that most places now use!! The meat was so juicy, tacos only costed .50 cents!!, and they were on regular size tortillas. One time a after a show in 1980, The R&B group Earth Wind & Fire came outside and had some tacos!!
