The Arab Street ~ Hip Hop & More ~ December 9th
This groundbreaking line-up addresses a young and socially conscious audience and will feature Arab-American rappers who use their lyrics to voice their little-heard point of view, as well as vocal and world music artists, both Jewish and Muslim, from North Africa.
The concert event features diverse Middle Eastern artists, including the Palestinian groups N.O.M.A.D.s and The Philistines, Excentrik, the Legitimates and DJ Myson, with a special performance by Tunisian rai artistMC Rai and guest vocalist Zera Vaughan, also from Tunisia.
At Café-Club Fais Do-Do, 5257 West Adams Blvd., Los Angeles CA 90016 (just southwest of the 10 Fwy. and La Brea).
