THE NUG REPORT ~ Maui Wowie

Nug Report ~ Maui Wowie
“Make ya feel great, you forget you in the states, might relocate. So you can smoke all the Maui Wowie you can take…” ~ Kid Cudi
Indeed Mr. Cudi, indeed. If I was on a desert island with only one strain of cannabis to smoke for the rest of my life, I’d be inclined to pick this ill Hawaiian delight. For me, nothing comes close to the flavors, sight, and effects of Pacific Island pakalolo (crazy weed), which seems to hit with a stronger psychoactive feeling in body and head than our beloved Cali-raised medicinal herbs. This is usually called a sativa dominant but really falls into a category of its own; the effects are more intense and psychoactive than most ganja offers.
I’m not sure if there’s one specific strain of Maui Wowie in the world, so perhaps this offering at my preferred co-op was some sort of amalgam, super-strain of island buds; a greatest hit of Hawaiian hits. But there is a seed company with the strain on offer, so I think its the real deal with this incredible appearence and flavor.
In any fucking case, it smells like tropical punch, with scents of cherry, pineapple, mango, and garlic within its bouquet. The bud is an unkempt jungle of green and orange, covered in crystals from toes to tip. The wild appearence reminds me of long strings of bright grass glued together with Delta-9. My knees were all warm, among other niceities in the pleasant, powerful high. I smoke a lot of Platinum OGs and Tahoe OGs and snow-capped purples, but this fluffy herb got me blasted beyond their reach each and every time. I await its return to the mainland…brah!
