I recently started a page on Facebook called GROWING-up-GARDENS. In short, I feel it was a unique experience being raised in HAWAIIAN GARDENS, and these photos are exactly the type of images that I want to share on this fanpage. Man, i remmember walking pass the painting and touching it. I dont know why but it brought me good lok every time I would touch it. Hawaiian Gardens it was some thing growing up their. I miss the old days.
I live in Vegas now, but always make a trip through the Gardens when I visit, sure do miss Santa Fe taco shop off Norwalk Blvd. Growing up in the 70′s/ 80′s was the best… I remember buying chips during recess @ Bloomfield Elementary School for $. 25 :)

I have missed you its been so long sence we have said hi to each other,sence Hometown Auto Part closed down It’s good memories you left behine here in the Gardens it a great history from the past our Fathers were good friend from way back SLP Mexico my dad past alway almost three years ago and I am back here in the Gardens taking care of my mon. Hawiian Gardens is good improving each year.and your right about Santa Fe Taco all was good good burritos and good tostadas.
