I was there last month and the guy that runs the place would’nt give us a table till we ended up sitting ourselfs 15 min. later.I was pissed becouse he didn’t care about his customers. I was so pissed i took a picture of him, maybe i should post him on Lataco. HAHA! you can get the same beer @ LUCKY BALDWINS in Old Town Pasadena….

garlic fries and onion rings are really good there, beer too. never noticed the crowd kind of non-descript. although I’ve only been there during the day and it wasn’t too crowded.

Yeah, I agree with El Chavo! about the crowd, I find it kinda fratty in after-work drinking attitudes, but still lots of good-looking people from different backgrounds who were looking…but yes, not a ton of stimulating conversation outside of what you might already find on The E Channel.

The Militant has been there many times and enjoys the Hef during Happy Hour. His only complaint is that the calamari is just plain awful now, compared to circa 2000 or so.

I like the IPA there, as well as the garlic fries and the yummy o rings. As for the crowd, that’s another story.
