The Gaslamp Killer Album Release Party ~ Downtown Los Angeles

3:58 PM PDT on September 19, 2012

The Mayan Theater was packed on a Tuesday night for the release of The Gaslamp Killer's debut album, Breakthrough. There to support him on stage were some of his friends, peers, and mentors including J.Rocc, DJ Nobody, Flying Lotus, Daedalus, and Eprom. The bass was heavy and spirits were high as Willie raced around the stage and through the crowd, greeting friends and family, including his and FlyLo's fathers. The crowd was a mix of the trap-loving kids who pack Low End Theory, to the older homies who have supported GLK from San Diego through LA and worldwide. Hit + Run, Brainfeeder, Alpha Pup, and innumerable other crews were on hand to celebrate The Gas Lamp Killer on his big night...

The whole event was recorded for RBMA Radio, which should have the audio up soon.
