Video of the Day ~ Dopecal: Kids Ft. Jevita Rene Prod. Ghost McGrady

11:15 AM PDT on April 18, 2017

Cody Allen Lewis, AKA dopecal has been making music since he was young, but only started seriously recording a year ago with his long time friend, producer/engineer sampson beats. Dopecal grew up in the Inland Empire, and was heavily influenced by his family, including his mother who is a huge hip-hop head, and his brother, a rapper who recently linked up with Torey Lanez. Add to that a who father is a bass player and you have a truly musical environment and background. Cody describes himself as a "kind hearted backpack kid who wants his peers to win just as much as he wants to win himself... who promises to take his listeners on a musical journey." That journey begins now with a brand new project, The Garden produced by LA producer Ghost McGrady. The first video from The Garden is for the song Kids and features Jevita Rene. Watch it above, then go find the album on iTunes, Spotify, and Tidal. Follow dopecal on Instagram and Twitter: @dopecal or find him on Soundcloud here.
