[dropcap size=big]N[/dropcap]ot even near triple-digit heat stopped hundreds of demonstrators from marching to City Hall on Sunday afternoon. The march was organized by 93.5 KDAY and called for the unity of Black and Brown Angelenos in Los Angeles.
The group assembled in Boyle Heights overlooking the L.A. River and broke off into two groups halfway through the march, divided between Black and Brown marchers. They then met again at City Hall. Demonstrators made a line facing each other and raised their hands in solidarity. After acknowledging each other, hugs and tears were exchanged.
