    —Sheila Kuehl, the Board Chair pro tem of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors, claimed during a meeting that the deputy lockers rooms in the L.A. Sheriff's Department contain notable insignia for far-right extremist groups the Proud Boys and the Three Percent. She further claims some of L.A.'s own deputies are under investigation for participating in the January 6th attack on the U.S. Capitol, from which five police officers serving there lost their lives.
