A Photographer Stayed Overnight at Hollywood Forever Cemetery and Took These Film Photos During the ‘Witching Hour’ (3 AM)

[dropcap size=big]M[/dropcap]y goal was to walk around and photograph the altars at witching hour at 3 AM. At this time, it is believed that ghosts are more likely to come out to communicate. For the most part, the cemetery was dead (no pun intended) besides a few stragglers finishing their altars. My digital camera settings kept changing by themselves although I was in full manual mode. And the keys that I keep on my belt kept getting yanked. At the peak of 3 AM, a thick fog rolled in leaving a heavy layer of condensation on the altars. Despite being in a cemetery at 3 AM, I was at peace—total peace. The Johnny Ramone photo is a double exposure, a technique old film photographers used to create ghostly photos in the past.
