$3m is being spent on a brand new green space in Highland Park and the community has been invited to vote on which design they like the best. The new York Park will definitely include the following elements:
• Free library/gaming tables
• Contemporary vertical fencing
• Shade structure
• Fitness area
• Amphitheater
• Stage

• Entryway with park name
• Solar security lighting
• Security cameras
• Restrooms with time locks and Arroyo rock façade
• Permeable paving
• Children’s play area
• Refurbishment of the existing gas station sign
• Picnic tables/seating
• Habitat garden
• Benches around the play area
• Trees & native plant palette
• Drinking fountain
