Dia De Los Puercos Opening Aug 13th. ~ West Covina

This weekend is the opening of Dia De Los Puercos in the city of West Covina. The former truck was a hidden treasure on the streets of LA, and now chef Rick Garcia and crew are opening their restaurant doors this Saturday, August 13th. They opened this past Monday night for a preview event for food bloggers, artists, and local business owners to try their food creations. LA TACO's very own Erwin Recinos was invited to give you a personal look of their dining experience...

Here is a close up of the artesa papas (loaded fries) with mochomos (crispy pork). Hand cut fries  with guaca salsa  and topped with cotija cheese. A definitely must try and share. Remember, you can add any meat you want to this dish.
