LA GIFathon

3:58 PM PDT on September 19, 2016

In July artist James Curran spent a month in Los Angeles where he animated a new GIF every day for 30 days inspired by something that happened during his stay. You can watch the video of all 30 animations by clicking play above. James hits all the usual spots a visitor might go, and a few unexpected ones (where is the Pokemon Bowling alley?) that may be imaginary.

You can also see and share all the original looping GIFs on Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram by searching for #LAGifathon or checking out his various social profiles:

Juárez-Style Burritos Have Arrived in Southern California, And They are Already Selling Out In Less than An Hour

The month-old strip mall taquería in Anaheim make all their flour tortillas from scratch using both lard and butter, resulting in an extremely tender vehicle for their juicy guisados like carne en su jugo, carne deshebrada, chile colorado, chile relleno, and chicharrón.
