Preview: Luka Fisher’s Polaroid Series “Life Studies”

On August 25thLast Projects  hosted the opening of a pop-up art show and concert to celebrate the premiere of HOTT MT's latest music video "Starheart" which was directed by Matthew Kaundart (The Cardboard Artist, Randyland) and produced by visual artist Luka Fisher.

The show features 25 new polaroids from Fisher's series "Life Studies". Each photo interacts in unexpected ways with the music video. You can view some of the polaroids from the series above, and at the end of this post.
Fisher's portraits include everyone from legendary performance artist Sheree Rose to porn stars Danny WyldeArrabelle Raphael to contemporary insult poets and conceptual strippers. 

The night was capped off with performances by Kayla Tange, Peter Kalisch, and HOTT MT.

If you missed the event, the show is still up today and tomorrow (Friday and Saturday, August 26th and 27th)  from 3-7pm.
