Preview: AIR + STYLE March 3rd & 4th ~ Exposition Park

The countdown is on for Air + Style LA happening March 3-4 in Exposition Park at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Part music festival, part skateboard and snowboard competition, the music lineup includes Zedd, Phoenix, Gucci Mane, Cashmere Cat, Cut Copy, DRAM, GRiZ, Mura Masa, Phantogram, Tinashe, Washed Out, BADBADNOTGOOD and more.

The lineup for the skateboarding and snowboarding competitions is heating up with an incredible list of athletes confirmed to compete. For snow, competitors include Francis Jobin, Frank Bourgeois, Zak Hale, Anto Chamberland, Dylan Alito, Darcy Sharpe, Halldor Helgason, Jill Perkins, Ozzy Henning, Nate Haust, Drayden Gardner, Brandon Davis, Kyle Mack, Johnny O'Connor, Desiree Melancon and Jordan Morse. For the first time in LA, Air + Style will have a skateboarding competition as well and is pleased to announce Greyson Fletcher, Raven Tershy, Tom Schaar, Alex Sorgente, Karl Berglind, Cory Juneau, CJ Collins, Nora Vasconcellos, Lizzie Armanto, Chis Russell, Heimana Reynolds, Sky Siljeg, Keegan Palmer, Patrick Ryan and Willy Lara will all be competing at the festival.

The new course will feature a transition based concrete skatepark, inspired by America's best DIY parks. This year's snowboard offering is designed by Big Bear Mountain Resort, and will showcase urban snowboarding, switching it up from last year's big air jump. Big Bear Mountain Resort will also be presenting their 'Learn to Ride' activation for festival patrons where you can learn to snowboard and get a buy-one-get-one-free lift ticket. Festival goers will be able to try skateboarding as well.

Air + Style will also offer a dynamic food program for patrons which will include LA dining staples LocoL, Chego, Kogi and Pizzanista. Other LA bites will include Beyond Burgers, Bling Bling Dumplings, Lemnman Burgers, Fat Dragon, West Coast BBQ, Strictly Vegan Jamaican Cuisine, Afters Ice Cream, Delmy's Pupusas, Spicy Pie Pizza, Mesohungry, Dog Town Dogs, TLC Sidewalk Café, Good Times Ice Cream + more! The festival will also offer a range of plant-based options crafted by Beyond Meat and and drinks by Califia Farms with their sustainably-sourced and energizing Califia Cold Brew Coffee options.

Hansen's Natural Sodas is bringing art to Air + Style for the second year in a row! Check out some live painting at Hansen's House by acclaimed street artists Vyal Reyes, Ricky Watts, and Spencer "MAR" Guilburt.

Air + Style Los Angeles is family-friendly event that welcomes music and action sports fans of all ages. Children 10-years-old and younger will be admitted free of charge with a ticket-holding adult.

The festival is also teaming up with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention as part of their new "SeizeTheAwkward" campaign. The campaign aims to give people the resources to learn how to talk to a friend who might be struggling with mental health and give them the tools to recognize the risks and warning signs of suicide, and to have a caring, brave conversation with someone they might be worried about.

Air + Style is a global snowboard and skateboard competition and music festival that features world-class action sports athletes and musicians along with art, community, wellness, food, art and culture during a two-day event series with stops around the world including Los Angeles, California (March 3,4), Australia (August 3,4 + 5 2018) and Beijing.
