Preview: See You Later, Sweetie ~ New Work by Austin England

This Saturday night (June 25th) Bill's Bar, a new art space, will host a solo show by Austin England, an artist we've admired for awhile now for his excellent illustrations. Moving into neon and tattoo, the artist finds inspiration in some familiar themes and motifs rendered in new ways. Come check it out, it should be a good way to start your Saturday night in Los Angeles...

See You Later Sweetie -  A solo Exhibition by Austin England
This show is influenced by the fleeting nature of love, when shit doesn't work out as planned its important to stay focused on your goals and path in life. Austin is exploring his work in new mediums, in the past year with the inclusion of tattooing and neon sign making. This body of work is evolving the focus on his well known illustrative style. The neon is a introduction to color and tattooing is a new way of recreating his drawing style to translate to skin.
