Track of the Day: DJ Nobody ~ Rex

From the dark corners of the world-renowned Low End Theory club night comes a quick and dirty release by resident DJ Nobody. The aptly-named A-side "Rex" is a certified trap stomper, the first taste of the producer's next full length album to be released in early 2013 on Alpha Pup Records, while "Swagnostic" assumes a smoother approach as an exclusive B-side.

Sneaking up from the depths of the bass bins with a sinister growl, "Rex" is a grimey track laden with psychedelic danger that threatens to spin out of control. The "Rex" kick drum is aimed squarely at the teeth, while it's syncopated melodic elements demand countless neck snaps. Riding higher and faster, "Swagnostic" uses Dirty South drums and the ominous mounting of trap-heavy tension to drown the club and knock the listener sideways.
