The LA Weekly has been sold to parasitic trolls from Orange County, and LAist was shuttered by an angry billionaire who refused to pay a living wage. The planet is dying and our government is promoting coal, and hindering development of planet-saving technologies. People are being deported outside their kids' schools and the nation just watches it happen. The bad guys have won and the rest of us are sitting here wondering how the fuck things went so wrong...
